What You’ll Need

While in Arizona, we will spend a portion of our time camping in the bush. To be fully prepared, you will need the following (keep in mind that all of the equipment can be purchased during our time in Flagstaff, Arizona if you wish):

  • Valid passport
  • Proof of medical coverage
• Equipment
  • Tent
  • Sleeping bag/pad/pillow
  • Day pack
  • Dining utensils (cup, bowl, plate, cutlery—these can often be purchased as a set designed for camping)
  • Personal gear
  • Hat (wide brim)
  • Sun screen/skin lotion/lip balm
  • Good hiking shoes
  • Wet shoes for rafting
  • Socks
  • Fleece jacket (or warm sweater or vest)
  • Sweat pants for cool evenings
  • Shorts
  • Swimwear
  • Water bottle
  • Towel
  • Camera
  • Prescription drugs or allergy medicines
  • Bandanas
  • Head lamp
